Chris Marsh is a passionate geologist whose curiosity for Earth’s history began with childhood rock collecting trips across the United States. This early fascination evolved into a dedicated pursuit of geoscience, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems Science – Geology from Morehead State University, KY.

Chris’s academic journey included advanced coursework in biogeochemical cycles, hydrogeology, tectonics, and GIS mapping, laying a strong foundation for both research and applied geology.

Currently, Chris works as a research lab technician at the University of Kentucky’s Earth and Environmental Sciences department, where responsibilities include coordinating new lab setups, conducting XRD analysis, and preparing rock samples for study.
